Internet Explorer security bug confirmed

Microsoft has issued a warning, regarding a serious security vulnerability in Internet Explorer.

The browser is currently wide open to attacks from web pages exploiting the code, which will allow attackers to take control of their machines.  Microsoft has released a workaround, via it’s Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit, which you can download from Microsoft.  However, this workaround will not provide a full solution for users of Windows XP and earlier versions of the OS.

At the time of writing this, a fix is still not available.
