Blog update

You spoke, we listened: Recent reader research has shown that the majority of our readers preferred our previous, ‘more in-depth’ approach to tech news, rather than the shorter posts we have focused on more recently.

So, we’re going to give you what you want – that’s how it works around here!

Although traffic to the blog has increased by almost 30% over the past 3 months, readers have felt less ‘connected’ to the blog. We have had fewer comments and that’s always been the most important part of what we are doing here – connecting with people who share our geeky love of tech.

For those who are new to the blog

This is a fully independent tech news blog:

  • We are NOT affiliated with any PR companies.
  • We also ONLY take advertising from companies we know, trust and who’s services we use or have reviewed.
  • We refuse to offer sponsored posts or ‘pay per post.’

Thanks for your continued support!

I enjoyed the short news format but to be honest, I much prefer your longer posts even though they were less frequent. Your a good writer and like ythe other comment said, it’s what you do best.

    Welcome back :0)

It’s about writing when there’s stuff worth covering, rather than writing because something is just ‘in the news.’

A LOT of tech news is actually just PR – no real news story, just professionally placed rumours to get people’s attention and sell more stuff.

      Thanks for the props!
