Google Chrome OS hardware partners named

Google has just announced a list of hardware manufacturers, that it’s working with on the new Google Chrome OS.

The list includes; Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba.  That’s quite a line up, with a few notable names missing.

Google announced it’s new operating system on Tuesday, which is due to be released in the second half of 2010.

    I’m wondering what MS think, as that list contains some of their bigger partners. Also, where’s Dell?

      Dell is probably already locked in with a win 7 contract at MS.

        Dell seem to have some BIG problems right now, according to the latest PC sales figures. They need all the ‘partners’ they can get.
