Manga avatar website down!
UPDATE – faceyourmanga.com is back!
We have had a few emails and comments today from people, reporting that the manga avatar website, faceyourmanga.com is down! I have tried to access faceyourmanga.com on and off over the past 8 hours without success.
We did a review of faceyourmanga.com here and stacks of our readers went to their site to get a free avatar. Avatars have become really popular (some say too popular) on twitter, facebook, myspace and blogs everywhere!

I used it to make my own avatar. Perhaps it lost the will to live after that?? ;-)
Man! Just as I found out about it and wanted my own. I’m guessing they weren’t expecting all the attention they’ve been getting lately.
Hopefully, they’ll be up soon! I want my avatar!!!!!

I have been asking people if there is any news regarding what’s happened at faceyourmanga and no one seems to know anything.
It’s possible the site is struggling under the massive amount of traffic it’s getting – but it’s now a couple of days – and surely it would have been fixed by now?
If anyone hears anything, either comment here or kick me a message via the ‘contact’ button at the top of the page.

Still nothing… I told all my friends about FYM and all of them want to see it while it gone down. Hope it is not a deffinite death of the site.

I have asked around and no one seems to know. There are two bodies of belief thus far. One is that the site has been hacked and the other is that there’s too much traffic for the server to handle.
I am not sure which of these, if any, is true. However, three days downtime is excessive.

May be they’re just gone on holiday and they don’t even know they are having this world wide success! :)
It;s been almost 2weeks already since the site went down… hope they fix this soon…some of my friends are asking me to make one for each of them…
